About Me

newCindy has been passionate about physical fitness all her life and has been coaching in some capacity since she was 16 years old. She was a swim instructor, a basketball coach growing up and a skydiving instructor/jumpmaster when she attended the Air Force Academy. In the Air Force, she was an F-16 maintenance officer and a physical fitness trainer but continued to dedicate her time to competitive skydiving. A national and world champion skydiver, Cindy’s favorite thing to do was coach skydivers.

Moving on from the sport of skydiving, she became an avid runner and cyclist accepting new fitness challenges year after year. Many marathons, road races, triathlons and an Ironman later one thing that never changed is her love for coaching and the gym. Cindy started training with Kurt April 2015 when her and her husband Blane moved to Chicago.

A firm believer in the KRF program, her transformation and how the program facilitated her strong finish in the Chicago Marathon was truly life changing. Throughout her career, Cindy has always helped others achieve their goals which has motivated her to achieve her own. She can now continue doing that as a personal training on the KRF team. Cindy is currently working on her CSCS certification and spends her free time exploring the city by foot, bike or by sailboat.
