Hey there! I’m Kurt Rawlins, and I’m here to give you the opportunity to join the hundreds of people I’ve helped get stronger, leaner, and sexier through my custom training programs.

Let me tell you a little story about how I got started in this industry…

I was lying on the ground, dazed, and my neck was KILLING me.

I had just been run over by a 225 lb. fullback in my first start on the varsity football team. At a scrawny 160 lbs., I probably had no business being on the field that day.

I felt feeble, puny and embarrassed. It was the intercity game against our big rival and I had just been run over like a freight train.

That was the tipping point for me. I hated feeling weak, injury prone and fragile.

Skinny, scrawny Kurt was in the past. I was going to forge a new, strong, muscular body by committing myself to the weight room.

That’s exactly what I did – and I’ve never looked back since. And I found a passion helping other people do the exact same.

Although I did party A LOT in college (who didn’t?), I managed to earn a B.S. in Physical Education. I’ve also achieved the prestigious Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I’ve held my American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer Certification as well as my International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) Certification. I currently run Kurt Rawlins Fitness in Chicago, where we have 4 coaches on staff and specialize in 30 minute semi-private programs for busy professionals.

Enough about me, let’s get to you.

1) Why did you start training with KRF?

I started training with KRF because I wanted to get in shape but also be educated on how to use the machines in the gym. I was intimidated by a regular gym because I didn’t feel like I had the knowledge to workout on my own and didn’t know how to lift weights properly. I settled on KRF because a friend of mine is also a client and had only great things to say about the KRF team.

2) What results have you seen?

I have seen amazing results that include losing 30 lbs, 11% body fat, inches all over my body, improvements in my sleep, and I have a lot more energy throughout the day.

I am a completely different person than I was a year ago, both physically and mentally. No one-size-fits-all programs here…I will customize your program for your unique goals and circumstances…all the while making sure you not only reach your goals, but do things you never thought possible!

Custom Nutrition Coaching

Once your training is nailed down, there’s a good chance you’ll need some help with nutrition.

In this case, I’m a big believer in do what works for you.

Paleo, If It Fits Your Macros, Low Carb, Carb Cycling, Ketogenic, Intermittent Fasting…yada yada yada.

Guess what?

I’ve seen them all work. The key is see what style of eating works best for you.

You’ll need to be able to eat the unhealthy foods you enjoy at least occasionally, and I get that.

Expert Guidance and Accountability

In my training programs, I combine a customized training program and a nutritional approach that fits your lifestyle. The key is helping you do it in a way that is sustainable for the long term. Otherwise you’ll find yourself right back where you started 12 weeks later.

Habits and developing a routine trump quick fixes every time.

What Types of Clients Do We Coach?

I’ve trained several different types of clients, but my bread and butter clients are busy professional women between the ages of 30-50 who are stressed and strapped for time.

  • You’re willing to learn to adhere to some new, life-changing habits. This includes your training program as well as some dietary alterations. Again, we’ll find a nutritional plan that works with you and your lifestyle.



Q) What exactly is semi-private training?  How does it work?

Semi-private sessions are 30 minute sessions where you share your time with 1-2 other clients. Each client is on a customized, personal training program. So while you might be training to fit back into your favorite black dress, Joe might be trying to add muscle, and Susie is training for added strength. We’ll train all three of you in 30 minutes – all while making sure to fit your program with your lifestyle. Don’t forget – if you follow the program we design for you – we guarantee your results – or your money back.

Q) I’m worried I’m too old for this. 

There’s no such thing as ‘too old’ when it comes to weight loss and getting a better body. Certain things change as you get older with your metabolism and the way you need to train, but I’ll make sure you have a plan that takes all these factors into account. That said, I do get the BEST results with women between 30 and 50. 

Q) I have an injury. Should I wait to start? 

They say there’s no time like the present … … and that’s true here too. Sure, an injury might mean we need to modify your training a little, but again, it’s all doable, and some of the most incredible body transformations I’ve helped people achieve have happened while certain injuries have been at play. 

Q) Can I REALLY eat anything? 

There are no banned foods. At all. Sure, you can’t eat every food in unlimited amounts, but no matter what you crave – be it ice cream, beer, pizza, wine, chocolate or Chinese – we’ll make sure you get to have it and still see fat loss. “Take me to your Free Unlimited 7 Day Trial Application NOW!” 

Q) What kind of results can I expect? 

I can confidently say that shooting for 2 pounds of pure fat loss every week is 100% achievable. That means we’d be looking for you to lose 8 pounds of body fat in your first month. Some people get more, and we’ve had as high as 15 pounds in 6 weeks! But if you stick with my (simple) plan, the fat will melt off, and you’ll actually see your body change within the first 1-2 weeks. 

Q) Why can’t I just get a program and diet from a magazine? 

You absolutely can. I’m not going to stop you. In fact, if you do that, stick to it, and get results, I’ll be delighted. But I’ll also be surprised. See, as tempting as going it alone seems, it’s not always that easy. For one, it’s difficult to know exactly what to do for your own genetics, body type, schedule and goals. And then, if you actually do work out what to do, actually sticking to it is a whole other challenge in itself. Work parties, family events, day-to-day stress and cravings get in the way, and before you know it you’ve blown a whole month’s work in just 1 night. With my team and I in your corner though, that won’t happen. 

Q) What happens if I don’t sign up? 

Nothing, but you’ll be walking this lonely fat loss road alone. That’s cool. Some people like to have ALL the responsibility on themselves. I don’t. I like someone to help me through any struggles, to lay out a program that makes everything easy, and to support me. But that’s me … it might not be you.
